|Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, I was running soon after I learned to walk. From skiing, soccer and softball to four years on Varsity field hockey team, I’ve always loved being active. The summer after high school I found a love for running and it became part of my every day regime. I attended Bentley University where I graduated in 2009 with a BS in Marketing while playing on the Women’s Rugby Team.
Soon after college when the team sports had ended, I needed a new sport to keep me active, so I took up running a bit more seriously. Since September 2009, I’ve completed 17 marathons and countless half marathons with many more on the way.
I moved to NYC in October 2010 and for the past 9 years, I have been working as an Executive Assistant at an Insurance Brokerage and Consulting Firm in Midtown, Manhattan. I love my job and when I joined The Program in the summer of 2017, my job and my workouts quickly aligned with the same values: work hard, have fun and love what you do. The Program is a truly amazing group of people who challenge themselves (and me!) daily. Everyone is encouraging and I’m honored to be part of such an incredible group of people. I never thought a 5am wakeup would find its way into my schedule 3-4 days a week. I’ve also never been so inspired by a group of people who are focused and easy to get along as the people in The Program!
