I am a native of Baltimore and moved to North Carolina for college as I became a proud member of the Duke Football family. After college I was fortunate enough to spend some time in the NFL. I have always loved being a part of a team and challenging myself physically. This can be in the form of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, doing yoga, or playing organized sports. Whatever it is, as long as it is fun and challenging, I am all for it. Outside of athletics and fitness, my family and friends represent the most important part of my life.
The Program has been an incredible experience for me for a number of reasons, some I expected, others not so much. First and foremost, there is nothing like having a team of like minded people around you. I was not sure if I would ever have that experience again after leaving the world of football. It is rare to find a group of people coming from such diverse backgrounds that are willing to come together and do everything they can to push one another to reach their personal and professional goals.
What I could tell from the very first workout, was that this was going to be a group of people that are interested in putting work in to make themselves better. What I could not have expected was the amount of support and friendship that would develop among this crew. We each have our own goals and interests, but every member of this team puts the greater group first. I would not have reached any of my goals without such a strong group of people around me working so hard.Back To The Team Page
